Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy or percutaneous collagen induction involves the use of a device that has tiny needles which create micro channels in the skin.

The needles usually measure somewhere from 0.5 to 2 millimetres in diameter and length up to 3 mm.

Microneedling encourages the growth of fibroblasts, epithelial and endothelial cells, along with collagen and other structural components of the dermis. In other words….dewy, plump, hydrated skin.
